Assistive Technology Services

AgrAbility

The Kansas AgrAbility Project assists individuals in production agriculture who work on small or large, tradition or non-tradition operations. The Project offers education and assistance on safe, affordable ways for people with disabilities to work in production agriculture and maintain their rural lifestyle.

Kansas AgrAbility staff combines their knowledge of agriculture with disability expertise to provide farmers, ranchers and farm workers with specialized services so farmers can safely accommodate their disability in daily farm and ranch activities.

Kansas AgrAbility is part of a national network of AgrAbility Projects administered by the United States department of agriculture as authorized by the 1990 Farm Bill. For more information call the technology department at OCCK and ask for Janice Fouard, 785-827-9383.
