EQUIPMENT Resources
Interagency Equipment Loan System
OCCK, Inc. operates the Equipment Loan System. Through the statewide loan system, individuals with disabilities have the opportunity to try devices before purchasing them from commercial sources. The equipment may also be borrowed during emergencies or while completing funding arrangements to purchase equipment.
Items such as independent living aids, adapted toys, environmental controls, computers, positioning aids, and communication devices are available for loan. This service is available to anyone in Kansas at no charge.

Kansas Equipment Exchange
The Kansas Equipment Exchange helps more Kansans obtain affordable medical equipment. In cooperation with Medicaid, durable medical equipment (DME) and assistive technology acquired with public funds will be recovered and made available to other Kansas consumers.
As one of the five regional Assistive Technology Access Sites who oversee this activity, we work with individuals and organizations to make exchanges possible.
Volunteers are an integral part of equipment exchanges. If you or your group is interested in transferring equipment from one town (or user) to the next, please call Mary Peter at 785.827.9383.
To view the Kansas Equipment Exchange website, go to http://www.equipmentexchange.ku.edu. The site has an application, equipment available and an opportunity for you to post your equipment.
