QCS Team Leader

In addition to regular job duties as outlined on the Lead Custodian Trainer position description, this individual will be responsible for supervision of staff as assigned, supervision and training of custodial workers, transportation of custodial workers, lead crew and organize custodial work.  must be flexible, work hours may include early mornings, day, evening, and weekend.  Position is full time and based out of Salina.

Minimum qualifications:

1.    Must be at least 18 years old.

3.    Must take initiative and be able to solve problems.
4.    Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
5.    Must have a proven work history.
6.    Must have the ability to work with a diverse group of people in a team setting.
7.    Must be available to work various shifts.
8.    Must meet the eligibility requirements of the auto insurance company providing coverage for OCCK vehicles.
9.    One year working in the field of human services preferred.
10.    Must have a valid Kansas driver's license subject to insurability and obtain CDL with passenger endorsement within 8 months of hire date or transfer date.

The primary functions of this position are to develop a full knowledge of the businesses in the North Central Kansas 9 county area and their current and future labor needs, will need to understand and document the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to successfully complete the task and activities at each business based on O*Net job descriptions; will meet with businesses and industries to learn about their needs and to identify methods that we can work in partnership to meet workforce needs of the businesses; will have regular communication with th employment partners to discuss needed skills and employment opportunities available.  Additional responsibilities include assisting individuals with pre-employment activities that include resume and interviewing preparation and work related activities that lead to employment.  This is a full time position based out of Salina.

Minimum Qualifications:

1.    Must be at least 18 years old.
2.    Must have a valid Kansas driver's license.
3.    Bachelor degree in business, Human Resources, marketing, communications or human service preferred.  Work experience may be substituted for the degree.
4.    Must have experience in customer service, recruiting, job placement and hiring practices.
5.    Must have good people skills ability to relate to diverse populations and cultures.

Driving up to a 20 passenger van to provide general public transportation throughout the Jewell County area.  Assisting with loading and unloading of passengers.  Hours will include mostly days.  This is a part time approximately 16 hours/week position.  Position is based out of Jewell county.

Minimum Qualifications:

1.    Must have a valid Kansas Drivers License with ability to obtain a CDL with passenger endorsement within 60 days of employment.
2.    Must have a safe driving record.
3.    Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
4.    Must be able to lock in and unlock wheelchairs.
5.    Must be at least 18 years old.
6.    Must have a proven work history.
7.    Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
8.    Must have good people skills and customer service skills.

Provide personal assistance and support to individual with disabilities.  Assist with personal care and hygiene needs.  Must be able to work a flexible schedule.  Hours include mostly evenings and weekends.  Part time position (30 hrs/week)  and full time positions available.  All positions are based out of Salina.

Minimum Qualifications:

5.    Must have access to reliable transportation.
6.    Must maintain a valid Kansas Driver's License.

Peer Custodial Worker

General cleaning and custodial duties for businesses, including cleaning carpets and stripping and waxing floors.  Early morning and evening hours are required. This is a part time (32-35 hrs/week) position and is based out of Salina.

Minimum Qualifications:

1.    Must have a proven work history.
2.    Must be flexible and available for all shifts.
3.    Previous custodial experience helpful.
4.    Must have good customer service skills.

Facility and/or community based production and training.  Train and supervise activities of persons served to develop work habits and work skills.  Transportation of individuals in services. Work hours include mostly day hours and some evenings.  Full time positions available.  Openings in Beloit, Concordia and Salina.

Minimum Qualifications:

1.    Must be at least 18 years old.

4.    Must have the ability to work with a diverse group of people in a team setting.

Will be filling in scheduled shifts as needed, so hours may include days, evenings, and weekends.  There are full time and substitute positions available and all are based out of Salina.

Minimum Qualifications:

1.    Must have a valid Kansas Driver's License.
2.    Must have a safe driving record.
3.    Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
4.    Must be able to lock in and unlock wheelchairs.
5.    Must be at least 18 years old.
6.    Must have a proven work history.

Train independent living skills to individuals with developmental disabilities.  Assist persons served to access services and activities available in the community.  Recordkeeping relating to management of the residential facility.  This includes training everyday living skills, including cooking, shopping, housekeeping, social and leisure skills, safety skills and personal hygiene. Hours will include evenings, nights and weekends. Positions are available in Abilene, Concordia, Salina and Beloit. Full time, substitute, and part time shifts are available. 

Minimum Qualifications:
1.    Must have a valid Kansas driver's license subject to insurability and obtain CDL with passenger endorsement within 8 months of employment.
2.    Must be at least 18 years old.
3.    Must have a proven work history.
4.    Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
5.    Must have basic math skills.

7.    Must have the ability to work with a diverse group of people in a team setting.
8.    One year working in the field of human services preferred.
