Vehicle Maintenance

Maintenance, recordkeeping, and repair of all OCCK, Inc., facility and KDOT vehicles, under the direction of the Transportation Coordinator.  This is a full time position based out of Salina.

Minimum Qualifications:

1.    Must have general knowledge and experience in vehicle maintenance.
2. Must have demonstrated mechanical diagnostic and repair skills.
3.    Must have a safe driving record.
4.    Must have a proven work history.
5.    Must have strong oral and communication skills.
6.    Must have the ability to work with a diverse group of people in a team setting.
7.    Must meet the eligibility requirements of the auto insurance company providing coverage for OCCK vehicles.
8.    Maintain. a valid Kansas Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Lead Custodian/Trainer

Serve as Lead Custodian/Trainer.  Duties include:  supervision and training of custodial workers, transportation of custodial workers, lead crew and organize custodial work.  Must be flexible, hours may include day, evening, weekend, and/or early morning.  Part time 30-35 hrs/week, Position is temporary and seasonal 5/1/09 - 10/31/09.  AM shift - 5:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m or PM shift - 12:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications:

1.    Must have a valid Kansas driver's license.
2.    Must have a proven work history.
3.    Must have experience in supervising or directing the work of others.
4.    Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
5.    Must be flexible and available for all shifts.
6.    Previous custodial or maintenance experience helpful.

Employment Service Trainer

Facility and/or community based production and training.  Train and supervise activities of persons served to develop work habits and work skills.  Transportation of individuals in services.  Work hours include mostly day hours.  This is a full time position based out of Salina.

Minimum Qualifications:

1.    Must be at least 18 years old.
2.    Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
3.    Must have a proven work history.
4.    Must have the ability to work with a diverse group of people in a team setting.
5.    Must be available to work various shifts.
6.    Must meet the eligibility requirements of the auto insurance company providing coverage for OCCK vehicles.

Employment Trainer/Residential Trainer

In the employment area, this person will oversee facility and/or community based production and training.  Train and supervise activities of persons served to develop work habits and work skills. Transportation of individuals in services.

In the residential area, this person will train independent living skills to individuals with developmental disabilities.  Assist persons served to access services and activities available in the community.  Record keeping relating to management of the residential facility.  Hours will include days, evenings, and weekends.  Full time position - will work 20 hours in Employment and 20 hours in Residential.  Position based in Beloit.

Minimum Qualifications:

1.    Must have a valid Kansas driver's license subject to insurability and obtain CDL with passenger endorsement within 8 months of hire date or transfer date.
2.    Must be at least 18 years old.
3.    Must have proven work history.
4.    Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
5.    Must have basic math skills.
6.    Must have good people skills.
7.    Must have the ability to work with a diverse group of people in a team setting.
8.    One year working in the field of human services preferred.

Train independent living skills to individuals with developmental disabilities.  Assist persons served to access services and activities available in the community.  Recordkeeping relating to management of the residential facility.  This includes training everyday living skills, including cooking, shopping, housekeeping, social and leisure skills, safety skills and personal hygiene. Hours will include days, evenings and weekends. Positions are available in Abilene, Salina and Beloit. Full time, substitute, and part time shifts are available.
