Try Before you Buy!
The Solution Outreach Center at OCCK operates the Statewide Equipment Loan System and has over 3,000 pieces of assistive technology equipment and devices. These items can be anything or any tool to make life easier and increase independence for people with disabilities. Assistive technology available for loan includes a wide range of devices as simple as a magnifier to complex computer systems and equipment.
You have the opportunity to try devices to ensure they will meet your needs. Our customers are people leaving the hospital following an injury, children needing tools to be successful in school, senior citizens needing tools to remain safe in their homes, and people needing worksite accommodations to maintain their job. The equipment may be borrowed during emergencies or while you are completing funding arrangements to purchase the equipment.
